I find the pine cone a suppressed form depicted as if a Christ like figure in a chaotic or dismal setting. I feel like the intent of the piece is to have us not look at our world as if it were in decay, but find the one piece in that jumble of destruction that makes you stop...and think..."hey maybe the world doomed. Maybe, there is a chance for growth among the decay."
